Where’d you get those peepers?
I missed Quilt Market so I could see my little girl dance….
And it was the best decision!
She was AMAZING!
The name says it all! My fabric, my family and other fun things in my life!
So….I was a bit naive thinking I could get caught up on the first quarter over a long weekend. I’ll be lucky if I finish by the end of December. I’m wondering how much you can get when you sell your kidney…..think it’d buy me a full-time accountant? 😉
I had to show you guys the new teeny tiny 2D zoo. The scale is about 25% the original. The little animals are around an inch in size. I just can’t wait to use it! In fact, I’ve promised that April is the month when I’ll actually catch up on hooded towel requests. (Since clearly I’m not going to catch up on accounting.) And this print will be just perfect!
While I was inputting data, my husband moved the boys into one room. And then made the other room an official playroom. Which body part do I have to sell in order to keep the toys in the playroom? I’m willing to negotiate. 😀
You know…now that I think about it, quite a lot gets done around here when I’m off putting data into a new system. Are you thinking what I’m thinking?!?!?!?!? Hmmm….I like it, Gadget!
four years ago today.
This little boy reminds me that miracles happen in our lives
and God is in control.
(I was 32 weeks pregnant.)
Taylor is such a wonderful little boy.
(And he is ALL boy!)
We’re so blessed to have him in our family.
Happy Birthday, little man!
(A few pictures from our recent trip to California. You can see the whole set here.)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m not Irish, but who cares!
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that our family is now the proud owner of a leprechaun trap. How awesome is that?
This was a project for Haley’s kindergarten class.
See the trap door on top? Oh that little mischievous leprechaun isn’t gonna know what hit him! 😀
It’s been so long since I actually blogged anything of significance, I feel like I’m making a State of the Union address. My hands are all sweaty and I’m quite nervous. But in spite of the fact that it’s needed, I’m gonna put off real content for a while longer! I’m working on editing over 300 pictures from our long weekend away. It was fantastic. I’ve also been sewing so if I ever get around to taking pictures of my projects, I can share those. And I haven’t even mentioned my classes, or my 1st Annual Spring Cleaning sale coming up for those of you in the Tucson area. So much to share! So….see you again soon!
Rocks. That’s what we asked for at Christmas, rocks and grass – and that is what we got. We really wanted to finish our backyard…we just haven’t had the money to do it. So our awesome parents helped us out.
Saturday was my husband’s first day off in over 35 days (I think it was day 38 or something like that). I really hate that he has to work two jobs. But I love him SO much for stepping up and taking on the extra job to help take care of his family. Anyway…so on his first day off in over a month, he got to move 8 ton of rock. Let me say that again…..he moved SIXTEEN THOUSAND pounds of rock from a pile in our driveway to the back yard, one wheelbarrow load at a time. So I guess he didn’t really get a day off after all. 😉 Oh and I should add that my brother-in-law is always here to help with projects like this! I feed him awesome food. So that makes it pretty much even. 😀
We also have the grass to install. It’s fake grass. And I’m really really excited about it. I found all sorts of information that I think may interest you…another day. It’s going to save tons of water! Hopefully in a couple weeks we will have the mulch to go under the playground and then our back yard will be D-O-N-E !
Speaking of water….these were another Christmas gift.
Totally awesome! And I got rid of every single kid’s cup but these. Yep – they only have one mug with their name on it. I was beyond sick of cleaning up 18 cups each day from all over the house. And hearing “I can’t find my cup” or “I don’t know which one is mine.” No more. It’s awesome. One cup for each kid. It’s also saving a ton of water. 🙂
Apparently I’m all about water conservation today. Funny because in that last week we’ve received more rain than we sometimes do for the year. Or something like that. I’m not a meteorologist, people.
Talk again soon. 🙂
