Almost Spring

Spring Sale
My Tucson area Spring cleaning sale was this past weekend and it was great. THANKS to everyone who came out!!!!! I LOVED seeing/meeting all of you. 😀

My son was quite concerned that I was having a Spring sale because “it’s not Spring yet, Mom.” And a cleaning sale just makes no sense at all in his mind. 🙂

Anyway, my kids have Spring Break this week and my parents are in town. I do believe that in the couple days they have been here, more has been accomplished than the entire year thus far! The kids got hair cuts, the car serviced and vacuumed, new tires put on, the floor mopped, etc. etc. etc. There just aren’t enough hours in the day for me to do it all….and I’m really good at putting things off when it means I’ll have to drag 3 children with me! (Please tell me I’m not the only one!) PLUS the kids are scheduled to have pictures done while Grandma is here too!

Now…onto those Easter outfits!

You are NOT the only one..I only have ONE and I can’t get everything done with just HER in tow, LOL! You are super-mom if you’re toting 3! I’m impressed! My biggest thing is laundry; I’m pretty sure it’s breeding!

We did grocery shopping last night with 4 (my husband was with me I do not attempt all 4 by myself unless it is absolutely necessary!) and it was quite a trip. I keep telling my husband that if he’d take all 4 of them somewhere for a week I’d get caught up on everything. lol

It is always such a chore! I enjoy going to the store with my husband, but I feel like we always spend more money when we are together. So usually I go by myself or have him stop on the way home when we need just an item or two. 🙂 I figure I’d need 10 months to get caught up on everything. he he he

ha…you’re definitely not the only one! My parents/in laws visit about every 3-4 months, and I always have tasks saved up for when they are in town!
On another note, I’m looking (with jealousy) and the photos from your fabric sale and thinking something you could offer in your shop is a grab bag of fat quarters, end of bolts, etc. I’ve bought several from other shops and loved getting a surprise assortment of fat quarters to use on whatever projects I have going at the time. I would imagine it would be a good way for you to get rid of some of the miscellaneous fabric you have around too!

Thanks! I do have end of bolts (the section isn’t visible right now while I restock them!) but I had not thought of fat quarter grab bags! wonderful idea!!!!
