New Kits & Sewing Saturday

Isn’t it nice to come home?  I’ve been back a whole day now!   🙂    I like using my own shower and sleeping in my own bed.  I wish, however, that a mountain of work didn’t await me as soon as I walked in the door.  Getting all the orders out from when we were gone (thank you!) isn’t bad….it’s the unpacking, laundry, mopping, grocery shopping, etc. etc. etc. that is overwhelming.  But I have some fun work I get to do as well.  I had 9 boxes of fabric sitting in my entry way (my dear brother-in-law brought them inside for me!) waiting to be listed.  I’ve been working on that – and the whole cleaning thing too.  And I’m making progress in both areas although neither are complete.

I know it’s the new year – and there is SO much in the works that I can’t wait to share with you!  First, I’m starting to list more kits!

All you have to do is pick the size you want to make, and I’ll gather everything together for you to complete the project.  Even the ribbon, elastic, interfacing or whatever else the project calls for!  You can also choose to have the pattern included (at a discounted price!) or leave it out if you already own it.  Then when you’re ready to start your project, you can just pull out your kit and know everything is there!  More kits are coming too – in other fabric options and other patterns as well.  I’m very excited about it!  You can find these kits here!

Also if you live in or around the Tucson area, I’d like to invite you over to sew or craft this Saturday.  I’ll be working on a few projects myself and I alway enjoy company. Nothing fancy – just some time to create.  Email me  or leave a comment  and I’ll get back to you with directions to my house.

All for now! More more so much more is coming! Hope your new year is off to a great start!

OH! A sewing gathering is one of my super “wants” for this year. I see so many in other places in the country. I know there are Quilting Bees around me, but nothing more garment oriented.

Sounds like fun, so make sure you take pictures and share them!

i SEW wish i lived nearby b/c i would TOTALLY come over for a sewing/crafting day!! i LOVE having those at my house – have done them many times with my friends, and we always have a blast. i don’t necessarily always get a ton of work done, but i always feel refreshed and re-energized afterwards, and it definitely helps to get my creative juices flowing!

thanks for your comment and your prayers on my blog, btw…means a lot. can use all the prayers we can get going into tomorrow!! mackenzie’s previous surgeries have been very difficult and her recoveries have been really hard…it’s hard not to dread this with every ounce of my being. and especially so when it was supposed to be taken care of with her last surgery a year ago. but i’m truly trying to keep my focus on God and knowing that He has a plan in all of this, even if i can’t see it right now. so thanks for your prayers!!!!
