Holiday Confusion

My kids crack me up on a daily basis. (As long as I slow down to enjoy them!) A conversation with Haley….

*This picture is from last fall. Hmm….I need to make her a nice fall outfit!

H: It is Halloween.

Me: Not quite yet, but Halloween is this month.

H: Is Halloween God’s birthday?

Me: No. Christmas is Jesus’ birthday.

H: I know, but God is Jesus’ father so he had to be born first.

So all you theological genius’ (aka Joe)  – how do you explain that to a 4 year old?

***PS I took down my earlier post regarding the red light/intersection thing.  Hubby is going to use his cool comptuer skills to get me an actual picture of the intersection.  Then I can draw on it and explain the whole red light running better.  I mean, good heavens, if my sister didn’t get my pathetic sketch – then no one could!

That sounds like a conversation I would get into with my boys. :o) Very sweet and such a great thing for her to be thinking about!

Ha ha! I glanced at the diagram before and decided to focus on it more later…so not is later…and the post is gone! 🙂 So…now I look forward to studying Luke’s version.

How sweet. Kids really make you think don’t they. Ava came home from school saying her teacher told her to ask a lot of questions. I was like, “great”. *scarcasm*
How did the Black Apple dolls come out? I’m thinking of making some for Christmas gifts.
