Christmas in August

Gift giving = my weakness

I know that I am terrible, truly horrible at giving gifts.  I am often clueless as to what to give, and more often than not, I am late in giving said gifts.  😦

Goal = give Christmas gifts on time this year

Translation – start sewing for Christmas in August…don’t wait until Thanksgiving weekend! 🙂

Here we have some quilted Christmas cards.  They were really fun to make.  I used the charm pack from Merry and Bright.    A tutorial is here. Linda gave me a set of patchwork cards when I tested one of her patterns. (Did you get the card holders at clearbags?)  I fell in love with them!  I have the pieces ready to go for a bunch of Woodland Bloom cards.  Won’t those be cute?

Other Christmas gifts are in progress as well, and will be shared when possible.  Some won’t be shared since the recipients read my blog. 🙂 Oh – and I guess I should mention – you can get 20% off all Seasonal Fabric on my website if you use the code CHRISTMAS – good until Sept. 8, 2008.

Hope you’re enjoying the long weekend!

PS I got the card stock and cards at Target for about $10! What a great deal. 🙂
