Patchwork Pixie

My mom is visiting right now! She is a REALLY good seamstress – and is always willing to help me out with projects. Most of the projects are still ideas in my head, but she helps me get ’em done. 🙂 She also helps cook and clean. She reads to the kids and takes them to the park. Why doesn’t she live closer?!?!? Anyway, we’ve already finished a number of things since she arrived on Tuesday. I’ll have to space them out – but it should be good blogging material for the next couple days!

A shipment from Moda, with the Woodland Bloom charm pack included, arrived just in time! This fabric is SO cute! I can’t wait for the bolts to arrive! We whipped up this skirt in no time at all. We used the Favorite Things Little Hip Skirts pattern. It’s super fast – even with the patchwork piecing! And I just love the end result!!! Should I list the charm packs before the bolts arrive? Let me know what you think!

What else have we been up to? Well, other than deleting my website…it’s been all good stuff. So, I guess you’ll just have to check back to see. 🙂 Now, I’m off to make a list of the entries for my contest so I can pick a winner! AND pick a couple more random winners for fat quarter surprises. Isn’t this fun?!?!?

Love the skirt!!! Haley is too cute! I’m glad you’re enjoying time with your mom – still anxious to see house updates (hint, hint)!

So….do you think you want to put that skirt in a “hand down to Sadie” box when Haley grows out of it? It is so darn cute!
