If you look closely, you’ll see 3 staples…or at least the darker area by the part of his hair. Yep, 3 staples in my child’s head. First time I have ever had to take an injured child to Urgent Care. 
I freaked out for a minute when I saw all the blood – but I pulled it together and didn’t faint or anything. 
They fixed him up – and he did really well. He was very happy when they gave him an otter pop for being such a trooper. (The complete story another day.)
