I have such a hard time with gifts! Isn’t that the craziest thing you have ever heard? I go ’round and ’round. Should I buy something? Should I make something? Should it be useful or fun? Would they like this, or would they like that better? ACK! It’s terrible. So, as my family knows, this means I usually just don’t do anything!!! Horrible. I know…you don’t have to tell me. I figure this is just the beginning. With Kyle in school and Haley starting preschool, we will be invited to several birthday parties this year (and for years to come!)
So, one of Kyle’s classmates just turned five. I have a child that is five….you would think this would be especially easy! The problem is that she is a girl….my girl is only 3, so maybe 3 year olds don’t like the same things as 5 year olds. What am I to do?!?!? This is what I ended up making. I hope she likes it. I have some sticker sheets and glittery things to go inside. If it goes over well then maybe I’ll make more as gifts to give throughout the year. The inside is the pink polka dot material. (I used material I had on hand…..so my mom can be proud of me for not going and buying more fabric!!!!!)
