Okay…so I told myself that I would do nothing else until I got Taylor’s 1 yr. quilt finished. I mean, heavens, he is 18 months old now!
Well, stop the clock! It’s done
WHEW! It’s nothing super fancy, but I think it’s perfect for my little boy. The back is the Michael Miller Snuggle Up fabric. Oh…if only I could pass the softness on via the internet. It’s delectable! The firetruck material is from Robert Kaufman. The other fabrics were from Joann’s (and I had 40% off coupons, YEAH!)
I also have a firetruck appliqué started that I am going to embroider his name onto for a wall hanging. I had originally planned to put it onto the quilt…but after messing around with different layouts it just didn’t fit in. So I continue with another project…..do I ever stop?!?!?
How are the bags coming? Well I have all the outer shells sewn…but still need to work on the insides
I think I’ll keep 5 or 6 of them for myself. Ha Ha! Just joking!
Now there is one more thing on which I have been working like crazy. Oh, it’s so exciting
This will be revealed on a future blog and it will include a freebie. The only hint I can give you is that it will be personalized. I LOVE personalization!!!! The anticipation is building. Can you handle it?

I love Taylor’s quilt…and I can’t believe how big he’s getting!!!! The bags coming along and look great!
Love the quilt and love the picture of Taylor on it
