We thought it would be a nice break from the Tucson heat to go on Mt. Lemmon. We got sandwich stuff packed for a picnic lunch along with our various baby carriers so we go for a little hike as well.
On the way up we drove through some clouds and rain, but at the top it was near perfect! A little chilly in fact…it was wet and all. (You would think I never lived in Wyoming.) Haley had to put on a pair of Kyle’s shorts since she wore a dress. Taylor was shivering but he warmed up quickly in his sling snuggled up against me. Kyle ended up putting on another shirt to stay warm too.
I was glad we brought the Kelty framed backpack for Haley to ride in. It not only helped keep her warm, but we were also able to hike for longer. And of course Taylor was perfectly at home in his Ergo.
On the drive home we went through some really bad rain and saw lots of flash flooding. We even saw a few stranded vehicles and water rescue teams on their way to help. Haley had to go to the bathroom so we stopped at a gas station. She would not even consider leaving the car with those “boy pants” still on. So, even though she was about to pee her pants, we had to get those off first. Then she could be seen in public! Funny little girl.

ahh — I miss you guys! And yes, Miss Haley makes me laugh, even thousands of miles away! Mel, your hair looks short…very cute and easy!
